Facebook "like" button brings up wrong image?
I have installed the Facebook "like" button on my blog for each individual blog post. However, when you "like" the page it pulls up a random photo from the sidebar and not the photo from the actual blog post. My page is a photo blog, so showing the correct thumbnail image is important. I notice a lot of the "fixes" ask you to add a meta tag for the image, but I do not want the same static image to show up every time the page is liked. As it is a photo blog, each post is about a new photo, so I need the "like" of each post to actually show the post's specific photo. I have tried multiple different plug ins but to no avail. I use wordpress and a custom theme. Thanks!

Hi Moe,

Could you clarify if you are setting a Featured Image for each post? I suspect that is the way most of these plugins would select the image to use in the Facebook like.

By the looks of it this is a pretty common problem. If you set a Featured Image for each post, and then use the 'Facebook Like Thumbnail' plugin - available here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/face...thumbnail/ - hopefully that should solve your problem!
