Why people can still see my facebook timeline that I've hidden?

I am so annoyed, they print screen and post it on chat, how come people can still see my timeline that I've hidden. I liked a page, then I went to activity log, then hide the timeline.

This facebook is f""ked up.

because hiding it from your timeline doesnt hide it from appearing in your friends' tickers

you cant prevent people from seeing the things you like unless you add those people to your restricted list because the whole point in facebook is to share your activities with your friends, not hide your activities from your friends

You can hide it from your timeline, but you cant hide it from your friend's newsfeeds.
