info about gray market.?
hello , i want to start consumer electronic business, i want to import goods like sd cards , flash drives ..etc, from china dtriectly and sell it in inda ,
i have got many oem companys from china , which offer products under big brands like kingston , transcend etc ..., its like they manufacture the product by their own , but giv the packing of these brands.. so my question is will it comes under gray market? , is it legal to do so ? Ads |

I'm not sure how they categorize those nameless clones, gray market I believe is more about receiving legitimate goods through unauthorized channels, Apple iPhones for example should be sold only by authorized dealers, those sold on Ebay are probably gray market, or counterfeits that may not even use the Apple operating system.
I believe your Chinese look alike goods would generally get through customs OK, quality control and your customer satisfaction is dicey when dealing with unknown Chinese suppliers. Ads |
