Does my router record/track my browser history?
I have 2 Netgear routers: a white one (WGR614) & a black one (WNR1000 v^2). I've just been trying to figure out which one or of if both of them has any records of my past browsing sessions. And if they do, how do I delete them or does the router do it itself when it's data get's full?
Somebody help me. @Ed G: How do I go into my router to do all of that stuff? Ads |

Your browsing history is saved directly to your computer, so you're completely fine. However, you should clear your internet cache every so often because after a month of internet use, it could get up to a couple gigabytes. You can clear the internet cache by using a program such as CCleaner or something else.

Your other answer is wrong.Depending on your router some can be set up to save your history. The default setting are not to save that information. But many have the option to view web activity. What it will show are the time, date, Ip address and website. This can only be deleted by going into router setting then firewall, then web activity.

No it is saved on your computer if your browser is set to do so.
