Just leave.
it's not like you signed a contract with them.
If they question you later down the track just say "It's nothing personal, but I'm just spending my time doing other things,Instead of going to church"

Get straight in you understanding what the crucial differences are between orthodox Christianity and the LDS. If you do not, then when mature Christians in your church learn you are leaving them for the LDS, they might raise some of those points, so you should be prepared for them now, before you part company.

LDS: God (Elohim) was once a man
Bible: God is omniscient and all powerful and eternal and is Spirit

LDS: The first offspring of Almighty God (Elohim) and his wife was Jehovah, who became Jesus
Bible: God has no wife and has never procreated ‘children’ or other beings

LDS: Jesus was born just as all people are born. He is not the eternal, only a god
Bible: Jesus Christ is eternal and was not created. He was born as a man but not as all people are born – no human father was involved. Jesus is part of the One Being who is God

LDS: The Holy Ghost is a spirit person but does not have the qualities of God
Bible: The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and was not created

LDS: The Bible is accurate only as far as it has been translated properly, but the Book of Mormon, given to Joseph Smith, is more accurate
Bible: The Bible is God’s unchanging inspired word – all of it – and no other written word has been issued by God

LDS: There are three levels of salvation, all dependent on works, or lack of works
Bible: Salvation is a complete and finished work in Christ, a free gift of grace that cannot be earned

LDS: Man’s destiny is to one of three heavens / kingdoms but no-one knows what resurrection they will get
Bible: There is only one destiny for those whom God calls into his kingdom and they are promised a glorified resurrection body

LDS: There is no place of eternal torment (hell)
Bible: Those who are not saved are condemned to a place of eternal torment- Luke 16:19 to end

LDS: Man had a pre-existent life before being born into the world
Bible: Man was not pre-existent before he was born on earth

LDS: The Aaronic and Melchizedek priesthoods have been restored to LDS, giving them their authority
Bible: Jesus Christ is our great High Priest, like Melchizedek – he is our authority and has done away with temple worship and the priesthood

LDS: Only temple-sealed, married Mormons who remain faithful to all Mormon requirements will attain the celestial kingdom
Bible: All Christians are sealed with the Holy Spirit at conversion and become born again into God’s family and will be with Christ in heaven

And, for your benefit, check the link below to discover what, exactly, you will be committing yourself to if you join the LDS.

Mind you, 3 weeks ago you were asking questions about leaving your World of Faith Church for the Jehovah's Witnesses. To help you, please read the Got Question links. AiH

Be careful! I joined their religion once. When I left it and filed for my name to be removed, they would NOT remove it! I filed over and over for years. I would call and check to see IF my name was removed and it was Not! I finely did something that when I called back they said my name was removed. But was it or did they just left the note to tell me it had? For Years had gone by!
This why they can keep saying their religion keeps increasing. They will Not remove the names of ones that have let. (I wonder IF they remove names of ones that have passed away?) How many do they really have?

If there is someone special, and you don't want to hurt their feelings, then tell them you are investigating the LDS church. They will probably be shocked at first, and come up with rumor after rumor to dissuade you, which will put you in an awkward spot (not knowing how to defend against unknown accusations), but eventually (if you are steadfast), they will realize that you are not going to change your mind. At this point, they will probably threaten you with hell. At this point you might wish that you have never brought up the subject. Maybe a clean break is better.

I've been an active member for over 38 years and have researched pretty much all the rumors that people share to demonize the LDS church and its prophets and scriptures. Some sound shocking, but in the end these rumors and myths are easily refuted - a real house of cards. They only appear impressive if you don't bother to do any research. It can be exhausting though - and depressing, listening to these naysayers. They are trying to destroy faith, and sometimes they succeed. A tender plant without root or leaf will get burned in the sun. I recommend that you get a testimony of the truth, and then seek to increase that testimony, so that you cannot be easily dissuaded from this exciting development in your life. Congratulations, and feel free to email me.

I wouldn't make a big deal of it, I'd start at your new church and perhaps come by to say goodbye in private to anybody you're close to, but be careful, sometimes you think there is a friendship but things could change fast, unfortunately. Just remember, some will judge you harshly and some churches are running a business rather than working for your soul and it's hard to see at first.

I think you're making a good move for yourself; I've been a Mormon all of my life and love the influence it brings into my life.

One thing you'll find from time to time are people who aren't super kind towards the church, for example the one who said that it's impossible to get off the roster - I guess if you clam up and don't talk to anybody it could be difficult, if you go to meet with the Bishop and say "I'd like my name removed" it's done in about 5 minutes. It's so easy to twist things - but don't worry about what people say against the church - those things pulling you towards it are real and lasting.

Good luck with the transition, hopefully you're able to build faith rather than to have to rebuild it; focus on the benefits of having the church restored and don't look back into your past, just move forward with the fullness of truth and enjoy it, hard times will come as they always do but your increased faith will help you through those hard times.
