Help! I cant connect to the internet after i installed my new Graphics Card?
Ok, so here's the jest. So yesterday when I installed my new Graphics Card into my Desktop, I couldn't connect to the internet after I installed it. I use a Ethernet Cable to connect to my internet, sense i do not possess a WiFi Card. It states in the Windows Network Diagnostics that "Local Area Connection" doesn't have a valid IP configuration. I tried to manually input my IPv4 Address into the "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TPC/IPv4) , but for some odd reason i don't have a Default Gateway in my Ipconfig. I enabled my DHCP (automatically assigning a IP Address) and still nothing works. I removed my old Graphics Card drivers and installed the drivers (on the install disk that came with the card atleast) for my new Graphics Card also. I've tried turning off Firewall, and that hasn't worked. I don't know what to do and i need help ASAP. Thanks!
yes, there is a little blinking light.

There are soooooo many variables, this could be anything. But let's establish something really important first - can your PC "see" the network? Look at the port where the network cable enters your PC. Generally speaking, if there's any network traffic going back and forth, you'll see a small blinking light. If there's no light, the problem is not inside your PC - it's most likely the cable or router. If there is a blinking light, then the problem resides inside your PC - meaning it's most likely a software configuration problem. This info probably won't cure your problem, but it will hopefully narrow it down a bit...
