Rejected me after I waited months (10 points)?

I am turning 16 pretty soon. It's a long story I'm sorry but I will give 10 points to who ever gives a good answer.

Basically there was this girl I liked for months but was too nervous to ever do anything. We only really talked on facebook. I asked her if she wanted to meet up and basically she rejected me. At the same time as this happened my bestfriend got a girlfriend and that got me pretty jealous since the moment I was rejected he got a girlfriend. Recently there is this girl that I have known for ages but haven't really spoken to. I was thinking maybe I should get to know her and she seems really nice when she speaks and she always says hi when she sees me. Annoyingly one of the classes we are both in she sits a table across from me which would normally be fine but the teacher doesn't let anyone talk in that class so we only get to quickly ask each other how we are and all that. How can I start to get to know her? I don't want to get nervous like with previous girl and be too scared and think about her for months then be rejected.I would like to finish with saying as well that she is friendly to everyone and makes an effort to talk to everyone not just me.

if you use facebook add her on facebook, you can talk to her there, talk to her at lunch time, if you have a phone get her number, you can try talking to her in class as much as you can before the teacher starts teaching. If you have the same friendship group it should be pretty easy if not, start hanging out in the same friendship group. Maybe organize like a group of friends to go to the movies and invite her, that way you guys can hang out and talk.

Just talk to her outside of class. Don't be scared or anxious. Just go and talk to her, you are just two ppl having a conversation and getting to know each other.
