pop-ups on firefox-----?

pop-ups on firefox-----?
i keep getting pop-ups (in a new window, not tab, window!) on firefox, i have adblock plus, flashblock, and ghostery

and i checked the box "block pop-up windows" in the firefox tools>options>content

how can i block these pop-ups?
