Why do website addresses keep disappearing in Firefox?
Website addresses keep disappearing in Firefox (NOT THE ADDRESS BAR) and then the cursor jumps up to the empty search area, even though I'm on a page and trying to type something.

A Google search failed me. Any ideas??
I've tried rebooting several times!!!

I have the exact same problem. I often will be on Yahoo finance, start typing in a stock ticker, and after the first letter, the cursor jumps up to the address bar (for auto searching in firefox). Frustrating. I have tried changing settings within firefox :about:config...find keyword.enabled...change to false...) but that did not work.
