Why does the internet turn kids into weird anime freaks?

Alot of kids who are introduced to the internet and animes at a young age turn into weird antisocial depressesd freaks as they grow older. my sister was a normal girl before we got internet, she started watching anime drawing it and became antisocial after she is obsesses with it and she is depressed and wants to kill her self. my cousin introduced anime and vocaloids to her and she is exaxtly the name, she antisocial depressed anime freak. I see it everywhere i go, at school , everywhere. It even happend to me at a young age, i was introduced to the internet and became obsessed with anime, i became really weird and antisocial but i realised it was happening to me so i stop with all that garbage. Even my parents said that my sister is like this all because of the internet and anime. One of my close friends brother is like this too, he was normal before he got internet too but then became anime obbsessed which led him to suicide attemps and depression. Who else agrees with me?

I'm not an antisocial freak because of anime and the internet, I'm that way because I was teased from a young age and rejected by other people(Really bad eczema). I've never wanted to kill myself, I wanted to kill everyone else at school. However, my parents don't keep guns in the house, and I'd probably only be able to kill one person with only a knife.

Why don't you try talking to your sister, maybe she's being bullied. Stop being an A$$ and actually try to help her. You and your parents are the types of people that make kids that way. All you guys probably do is call her a freak, and burn down her self esteem.

Well, I agree with Najee in a way... it's not always anime and internet, it could be because of teasing, and then they found it was their last resort after because the person might feel that they can't tell anyone. If she wants to kill herself, isn't it your job to stop her and help her get through the tough times? Maybe, you can watch it with her? I watch anime every day and listen to vocaloid, but there's no way I'm an antisocial freak. If you're calling her an antisocial freak, that's just horrible and might bee the source of the problem. Calling her a freak won't stop her, it won't make her normal, it'll just lower her self esteem. I'm not saying get obsessed with anime too, or become antisocial with everyone... but how can you get her to talk to you if you'll never truly understand her and her problems?
