How does Craigslist work?

Im thinking about buying something from there but how does it work. Do i just email the guy who posted what they were selling and do you have to go to their house to pick it up or can they deliver to your house? Sorry Im new to it.

Just E-mail or call him/her and decide how to do it. (Pick up, delivery, you guys decide)

you call the person or email and you set up a time and place to meet or he /she might bring it to you.. never carry alot of cash if your going to meet somewhere u dont know. always meet somehwere with lots of people and NEVER buy off somebody that wants you to send a money order or pay with paypal over the phone. If it sounds too good to be true it most likely is!!! Watch out for items over seas. Never buy from these people. always try and talk to the person LIVE on the phone after texting or emailing...
