I'm Having Trouble with Internet Explorer Problem?

I'm having trouble opening Internet Explorer. Everytime I open it I get the page that says "This page cannot be displayed". So I click on diagnosis and it says that thy could not find a problem. I also have Google Chrome on my computer and I click on that and I can connect to the internet.

Can someone tell me how to fix the Internet Explorer connection. Could it be something with the DNS server? Another thing when I am in Google Chrome everytime I click on a new search it keeps opening them in new tabs instead of just staying in the same tab.

could be your homepage is set to an old URL not being used

make sure you are connected to the internet.
in google chrome, go to settings, scroll down and click "show advanced settings", find "change proxy settings" then LAN Settings, do the invert selection, if AUTOMATICALLY DETECT SETTINGS is checked, uncheck it. and if its UNCHECKED, check it. now chek the internet. hope it might work.
