Where can I legally download free music?

The music doesn't have to be from popular artists. I'm just looking for a website that has a lot of free music that I can download legally.
FREE MUSIC. ITunes free music section currently only has 1 song available for download. That's not what I'm looking for.

or you can just look up "royalty free music" and find more sites (: basically its music that you can download and use for free but if you use it in projects you have to credit the artist
