after downloading IE 11 my lap top went blank?

when opening to start after password screen goes blank was ok till after download-restart

Insert your windows disc and repair your OS or go into safe mode and remove IE. To go into safe mode press and hold down the F8 key while the system is booting if that doesn't work keep pressing it and if that also doesn't work turn off your computer while it's booting then start it again, it will tell you that windows didn't boot successfully from there choose safe mode, by the way use Firefox it's way better.
