how far pregnant was you before you advertised it on facebook?
im 10 weeks and have no intentions of advertising it yet. i know girls that have advertised it when there still in single figures.
yes i agree with all of the comments i dont care if i dont tell anyone on fb but ppl will know due to bump. my family and close friends know and my work managers cos they have to know. we tried for 2 years for a baby so i thought id be shouting it of the roof tops but when i found out and still now i dont really want to tell anyone fb or work colleges sounds weird i know. they say to wait until the end of the third month, as it's most common to "lose" the child in the first 3. We know our cousin who advertized at the 2 month mark only to lose it on the third month and then havew to tell everyone. it was horrible. she got preggo 2 months later and that time she waited until she was 5 months, lol.

I wait until the "safe" point, so at least 12 weeks.

I dont really think i would tell everyone on facebook just tell certain people you want to know, but that really is your decision. I just found out im pregnant and I'm not telling neone on facebook. well i know they will find out when i start showing so prolly about 6 or 7 months prego is when i would say something. im only telling family and close friends.

After all of my family had been told, I posted on facebook with a 'baby bump' picture. I was 23 weeks pregnant, and have taken a new picture of the baby belly once a week (I'm 27 weeks now).
I'm only 18, so I wasn't too eager to post all over the internet that I was pregnant. And congrats on the pregnancy! |

3 months (between 12 and 15 weeks).
Tbh, I waited until the end of my first trimester to tell most people (including posting on fb) because that is the most delicate period of the pregnancy, if something will go wrong, it will mostly go wrong in the first 12 weeks, so I wanted to pass that "dangerous" step before announcing it to the world. |

From personal experiance, I announced that I was pregnant to friends and family when I first found out. I am currently 12 weeks and just announced it on facebook. The reasoning for this is becuase i'm only 17 and I was afraid of the redicule that might come along with announcing it. When you feel you're ready to announce it, then that will be the right time.

I waited until I found out the sex at 20 weeks. I wanted to wait to be past the safe period, and didn't want to just announce it out of no where. So i waited until the day of my gender ultrasound to mention it. Then I revealed the sex later on that day.
