Is Firefox being laggy a lot for you?

I have been having problems with my Firefox for about a week now where it works fine for a few minutes but as soon as I get really active with the internet (i.e. going on multiple sites) it starts to lag a lot for me until I restart the browser and then it does it again after a few minutes.
I have cleared my history and deleted all of my cache so I don't know what the problem is but Internet Explorer is working fine.
Anyone else having this problem?

Firefox is just awful anymore. I have it, Opera, and Chrome on my computer. Firefox is the slowest of those 3. It also freezes up more than the others. Chrome takes up too much memory for multiple tabs. I recomend trying out opera. I have used it on and off since the 90's when tabs were side by side..lol. I might try others but always go back to it. It is much faster and more stable than firefox.
