Is every college textbook available on the internet ? How can I convince my friend he's wrong ?
My friend Carl says that every college textbook used in every college or university in the United States is posted on the internet . He also says the only reason college students still buy their textbooks at the college bookstore is because they'd rather not wait for those self -- same textbooks to download from the internet .
Carl seems to really believe what he told me, and he wants me to find some "college textbook" information for him on the internet . I don't think every college textbook known to man is posted on the internet . Does this make any sense ? Why would a book be available on the internet and in a bookstore at the same time ? Finally, the most important question is -- how can I convince Carl he's wrong ? It'll take a lot more than trying to talk sense to him . Thank you in advance for your answers . Ads |

not EVERY book is available online, but a lot are as an alternative to buying the physical book. the real books are much easier to study.

Every college textbook I've ever needed was available in one form or another on the internet. It's usually a physical book, but occasionally an e-book of it is also available.
