Help inserting Google Analytics Code into Wordpress Site!?
Hello!
Please can someone help me to correctly add my google analytics code into my wordpress website?
Currently I have pasted the code into header.php above the closing </head>
However, when I go back to my Google Analytics Dashboard it says 'Tracking not installed'
My website is loraelysephotography.co.uk
I have checked the code in browser and the Google A code seems to be in there, so am I doing it wrong or is there another reason that it's not working?
Many thanks!

There are 3 ways to install Google analytics in WordPress. Direct paste, functions.php, and plugins.
First copy that code and add Google analytic plugin into WordPress.

It will takes Google up to 12 – 24 hours to start providing you with the awesome site stats that you need.

The best way to install Google Analytcis is through a Plugin because through it all pages will be covered. The best plugin I use is "All in one SEO Pack" as it gives Google Analytics, webmaster tools, Google + and other social media at one place.

After installation, go to settings of the plugin and put you ID "UA-48242376-1" in Google Analytics Box.

Currently the code on your website is present just before the close of body tag </body> and not head tag </head>
