Is technology just a tool for social change or is the reason for social change?
Sometimes social change is about technological change. The increase use of online education is directly related to the availability of the Internet. Sometimes social change simply uses the technology. The democracy movement in the Middle East has used social media technology to organize and publicize their cause.
