i really like this guy i met on facebook?

So, i just met a guy through facebook couple of weeks ago. i sent him the request since we both like the band green day and we both were in a green day group
we are same age ,but we live in two different countries ,
i like him.he is so cute and he talks very funny.
i dont really chat with anyone on facebook cause i really hate it ,but now i check my fb like hundred times a day ..and unlike before he's always online like he wants to talk to me..
i dont have the guts to tell him that i like him.because it might end our friendship.
i know it's never gonna work out cause we live too f**ing far but i really want something to happen ..
any ideas?

i dont even know what's my real question is..i just want to tell this to some one..but you could really help with dealing this matter?

Hi i'm a green day fan too and i know what it means to live too far from a special person i think you should't say you like him because it will be too hard for you both a relationship.... the situation would become awkward.... i now it's sad but at least you don't loose a good friend ... and not just a friend but an idiot friend! Sorry for bad english i'm italian
Ps: there's still the possibility that he say he like you And maybe one day you can know each other going to a green day concert together
