Facebook for the Forties?
As we all know S.A.G.A. has just launched its social networking site for the over 50s - sagatalk or something similar. And then there is a myriad of site like facebook aimed at the teen-twenties market.

what about 30's & 40's. Do you think there is a market out there for a social networking site aimed specifically at this age group.

I'd personally like to see them on facebook. My 20 something friends and I put pics up, of the weddings, and school events we have been going on, but they won't get on a check it. It'd be awesome if they were on there.

I think Facebook does the job perfectly well for those of us in our 30s and 40s!

I thought the whole idea of social networking is to meet people with different view points/backgrounds etc.
So I can't see why you would want anything specific for an age group - other than to share the same problems/issues etc buy who wants to talk about that 24/7

I've heard that MySpace actually has a large percentage of 30's and 40's now, as a lot of the original crowd has gotten old. Tom himself is in his 40's now, or at least close to it.

You may want to have a look at Yuniti as well ( http://yuniti.com ), it is aimed "for all ages", and has features both kids and those in their 30's/40's enjoy.

not specifically that i know of but any site like that (facebook, etc) obviously allows 40 year olds on the site so if the people you want to talk to are there... it works
