whats the best way to advertise a small coffee shop?
I work in a small coffee shop in a mall in Salt Lake City, Utah (for those of you who don't know utah is probably the worst place you could possibly make a coffee shop because our LDS population believes it is a sin to drink things like coffee) my shop is in a mall also in a bad place in the mall so most people don't even know that were here, I get paid 30% commission meaning of everything I make on my shift i get 30% of that, on slow days i can get paid as low as $17ish dollars for a 6 hour shift. I need some help with some ways of advertisement (at little or no cost) to try and at least get the word out that there's even a coffee shop in the mall my wages depend on it haha. Please help if you can all ideas are appreciated.

I hate to say it, but whatever energy you put into advertising for this shop would much better serve you if you instead directed the same effort into finding a better job.

pamphlets, try distributing pamphlets around, inside and near the mall.
target ppl with age 14 to 30 when distributing pamphlets. Printing pamphlets is cheaper and the cost of printing them will be covered up in first two customers you get.
Good Luck !!!

I think the key lies in reveling the truth. The more attention you get or the sweeter the coffee gets, the more resistance you will experience. People will have to get into your seats voluntarily and deliberately.

Sure Smith has been a coffee loving man. It is obvious that he drank coffee when the angel appeared in the forest and told him not to go to any of the other churches. He also drank a lot of coffee when he found water and treasure on peoples land with a stick. Sure when he had to bury the golden book. What else did he do with the Free Masons. Coffee is remembering us our finest moments. So did he.

Wait... is drinking warm coffee not a sin? Is this story a nasty trick of the devils? Nooo. The truth is that there had been many people unhealthy addicted to a number of things that were not to be liked. It raised eyebrows those days and people stood divided. One mean thing was alcohol, obviously terrible stuff but when you keep drinking you might get used to it and people drank more and more until the fun was gone. The same with tobacco. Smoking is not to be liked at first, so why do people carry on? The third thing was mixing peppers in food. This is not called "mixing" but "drenching." Pay attention. Its taste is overwhelming. One can not eat it unless you stick to it. Many would not want it because that shortens your life. It was practiced so that nations had a way to keep food fresh (safe). When people conjugated drench in "hot drenched meals" they came up with "hot drinks" instead of drenchings. Believe it or not, there is a red line under this word right now. Hot Drinks is perfect English, it still is today but these are expressions that are not used anymore and people who wanted to be high, on any of these three substances, kept doing it anyway. You won't even know households where they make all there food real hot. When you did then it is not any of your business. It just isn't interesting anymore. Time for coffee. Can you do that?

I have been working at a coffee counter in a supermarket for a month when I was young and have been going to the Latter Day Saints churches. Try to get the newspaper interested in your story. Involve people from church like bishops with your problem. Ask them not to reveal the truth but keep it a secret, deny it, even lie about it. Just so that people look stupid and have no moment in their lives where they say: I will be in that part of the mall again, just reflecting on a nice cup of coffee.

I'm sure you guys make more than just coffee, advertise it. Hot Chocolate from coffee shops is usually pretty good.
