How can I promote my paranormal book on kickstarter?

I'm trying to gain support for my novel but am having a hard time receiving support for this project:

You should make many social media accounts, a website, and a blog. People need to know about you. And tell all your friends. And maybe you should publish a small excerpt or sypnosis (I think that's what it's called) of the book on the internet and tell people at the end of the book that if they want to read more to help fund it.

You've just discovered why Kickstarter is good for raising money from existing fans, and pretty much useless for raising money from people who don't care whether you live or die.

I dunno if it'll help, but put some figures next to the things you want to spend money on, so people can decide whether your budget is realistic. I've published four novels so far, and haven't spent anywhere near $15k on the whole lot.
