"Unlimited" plans are pretty standard for shared hosting accounts costing $8/yr or more, I am not positive about GoDaddy, they are not necessarily considered the best hosts anyway. More people in marketing recommend Hostgator, perhaps in part because the site pays out big commissions for referrals.
These unlimited accounts are on shared servers that may have 50 to 1000 web sites on a single computer, if you got huge traffic or loaded the cpu excessively, they would find a reason to force you to upgrade to a more expensive plan, Ads |

Godaddy is a real nice domain name registrar but they suck at hosting websites. If you are looking for a good website host, yo should go with Hostgator, Justhost or Bluehost

Go Daddy is not so much known for it's hosting, try just registering a domain there and chose hosting elsewhere. good luck!
