I want my website to show up when people search "Stories of the Prophets" so I was thinking of adding that to the title of pages. I have 27 pages that are related to this topic and I wanted to know if this will help me with my SEO or if it will hurt me buy making crawlers list my website as SEO spam.

depends on how you do it and the site name

if your site name = Stories of the Prophets

then a page title could be

title title title ¦ Stories of the Prophets

but if your site name is NOT Stories of the Prophets, you will harm it

just remember pg title not over 70 characters
