How many quality backlinks do I need for my SEO services?

I had absolutly no backlinks for it when testing it and when people searched "SEO professionals Toronto" it came on page 11 so I did an excellent job at on page optimization. Now I am planning on building quality backlinks. How many would I need to compete and can somebody give me a few submission websites of all sorts.

It is strange that you were able to do so, but great job. Backlinks will increase your page ranking significantly. There is no set number, just how many it takes to get you into the top 3 positions.

Backlinks totally depends on the competition for the keywords, You should probably outrank your competitor to rank on First Page. ie. Making 1000's of Backlinks is not needed, 50 Quality Backlinks can do the trick. So think and work on.

It depends on your keyword competition. If your keyword got a lot of backlinks you need to build more.

Okay, that’s a bit mysterious. The problem is, the answer is different for every website. And it also indicates that there is a limit as to the number of back links you need. The short answer is, you can never stop creating back links.
