How to get instagram on my samsung galaxy apollo?

I just rooted my samsung galaxy apollo in hopes to be able to get instagram. it says it is not compatible with my device still though. Any way around this?

no, it's because your phone has 2.1 eclair and i think that instagram needs your software to be 2.3 gingerbread. since samsung did not update your phone, i don't think it'll work. this goes for everything on the google play store, you need 2.3 gingerbread at least

Your apollo is 2.1 - Eclair.
You need atleast 2.3 - Gingerbread, to be able to download instagram & whatsapp and the like.
