Strong internet connection but webpages will not load?
tried in Chrome and the pages don't timeout they judt will not load. tried in other browsers and i get the same problem . 100MB/s BTW

this might be the issue in the specific webpage that you are trying to open.

the webpage may contain:

1. many large sized images
2. many special Flash or JS effects
3. there may be hidden content
4. High traffic site
5. Site may have downtime

Do you mean you have a strong WiFi connection or strong internet. If it is WiFi check that you router is definitely connected to the Internet.

If you really do have a strong internet connection check that you don't have a proxy configured in either Internet Explorer or Chrome.

It appears to me that you are connected to a broadband connection.

Broadband connections (generally) show 100Mbps even when the speed is 0kbps.

This 100Mbps is the speed of the cable connection and not the actual internet speed.

Try to troubleshoot your connection by clicking on the network icon and right clicking on the connection name (in windows 7).

if still there's no improvement, contact your service provider. They know the best.
