Advertising for Business?
I am a small business owner. I recently opened in the beginning of the year. I personalize baskets for all occasions as well as offer a variety of bath and body products. Since I opened, business has been good. However, I am looking to find more appealing advertising methods. The town which I serve is about 2,000 people. Could someone offer some ideas as to attract more customers. Please only serious answers.

--Do you have a ''yelp'' established? this site is growing (check it out to see if it's offered in your area) I used that site to determine who business I go to.

--Having a website and also online add is a good start as well (I don't use the yellow pages to find business anymore, although, some people do so that's also a consideration.

--If there are any community events, such as a charity or festival, I would offer to make a basket to auction off or give away.

--start a facebook page for your business.

--most of the time, word of mouth is the best advertising.let friends, families and neighbors know about your business.Perhaps you can give a ''referral'' purchase a dollar or two discount.

Good luck and I wish your business well!

This idea is one of the more creative forms of advertising that I've ever seen. It is based on the collective purchasing from the consumer viewpoint and a VERY attractive form of advertising from the businesses standpoint. The business is able to essentially get coupons out to customers in masse at virtually no cost to the businesowner...simialar in some ways to Groupon if you are familiar with it. Go my source website and click on "Feature my Business" in the upper righthand corner and you'll be able to view a video that explains the basic concept for businesses. I hope this helps you.

A serious answer that will increase customer loyalty and sales. Is mobile text message marketing. It is inexpensive compared to other options out there and reaches a targeted market. You can then use your text message to monitor how may people came in because of it, how many people have seen your text message and more. For more information visit http://www.mobilehelpers.com/smartsave . and for demo text smartsave to 41242. I can also be reached by phone 563-343-9399
