Why do I always get error 503 on sourceforge?
About last week I started getting error 503 a lot. One website where is hasn't gone away is the website sourceforge. This particularly bugs me because three different things that I have went to download in the past two days have been on sourceforge. From what I know about the error already is that it can be caused by too much traffic on a website. I at first believed it was this because I've tried other browsers and unplugged my router multiple time so I thought it was because of too much traffic on sourceforge. However it never went away no matter what time a day I tried to download it and the website will load, but when I try to download something off sourceforge, I get error 503. I am starting to think there's a problem with my isp but I'm not sure yet. I would appreciate help to bypass this error or if anyone could upload the latest versions of win 32 disc imager and/or unetbootin to a filesharing website other than sourceforge.
@Daniel the url for one of the files is:

http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project...ps/Mozilla Firefox, Portable Ed./Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition 26.0/FirefoxPortable_26.0_English.paf.exe?r=http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable

It's not your Internet connection, it's the website itself having server issues, most likely being overloaded or it's down. I tried going there myself now and it's down for me too.

Hi,

I'm the Community Manager at SourceForge; please get me the URL that is doing this for you all. We are not aware of any issues so we'll need more data to look into this issue.

Thank you,

Hi @Andrew,

I had to create a new account to get in again to comment; for the rest of this, please send me email to d AT slashdotmedia . com .

Right now we need a screenshot of the issue, if it is still ongoing, as well as a single specific link to a download that is giving you the 503 you capture for us (in the screen shot).

Thank you!

d.
