Is anyone else having this problem with the twitter app on iPhone?

When I open the app it won't update my timeline to the most recent tweets. I have to update it about 6 times just to get to the most recent tweets. anything I can do to fix this?

do you restart your phone often? if you use your iphone all day everyday and never turn it off then every app you use stays running in the background and it can really put a damper on the phone performance, if you have IOS 6 double tap the home button, and an area down below will open up. hold your finger on one of the apps then click every single red "-" symbol until they are all gone, i would recommend you do this every couple days, if you have IOS 7 you can double tap the home button and when the same function happens slide each app to the top of the screen to exit them, or you can go into settings>general>background app refresh and switch it to "off" which will make it so the apps you arent using wont consume your internet
