Succesful free website?
i just made a website... and i want it to be free so everyone can use it. So lets say it gets a million users?. And i have Google Adsense. Whats the average money you think id be making a month. I'm sure if i charged people would still use it but i still want to make it free. Would advertisements really pay me a lot if i have alot of traffic. I know free would make more people want to use it but still. Any suggestions?

Some sites average 1 cent per visitor from Adsense, that would require 10,000 visitors to reach the min $100 payout level. More typically a new blog will need many month to get those 20,000 visitors, very few sites can charge admission.

To get those Million visitors you would have to have the one in 1000 blogs with exceptional quality content that's managed like a publishing business.

Just concentrate on making original content people would want to see and getting visitors, I would not even put any ads on the site until getting many hundreds of visitors a week, which may take you a surprising amount of time.

Every thing is based on assumption it depend on your quality work, which should be seen in your content.

And traffic are of two type random and genuine if you have random traffic that would never going to give you profit. And genuine search will generate income for you. So would tell you nobody can tell you the exact figure.

Dude, if you had a million users on a website Google ad sense would be a waste. Instead sale your own product like an ebook or music.
