I have been here for a while, answering what I know. When I scroll down here and go through the list of questions, its more iphone users posting problems. Not saying that apple isn't a good company. But they use people as the test subjects then make the iphone 5s. I have the Samsung galaxy s3, and my wife has the note2 they are both great phones. Android are like iphone that has been jailbroken, no restrictions. If you want a good phone go with the s3. If you don't like it most companies give you 30 days to return it. Or go play with it at one of the carriers stores. Iphone is trendy, and not cheap. So prove it to yourself and go use both and see which you like.

They've both got great camera features so it depends which aspect of photography is most important to you.

The iPhone 4s has access to the well stocked Apple App Store which has hundreds of photography apps & picture editors, along with a 8MP rear facing camera & a video recording quality of 1080p, verses the 5MP rear camera of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini & it's 720p video quality.

However if you're into taking self portraits then the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini has a 1.9MP front facing camera and a bigger display compared to the iPhone 4s' 0.3MP front camera and 3.5" display.

The best thing you can do is to have a read around each handset and decide which of these features is most important to you.
