What can I do with an Advertising Major?

Hey guys,

Im thinking of going into Advertising. I love the whole creative aspect of it. My question is, with a Degree in Advertising will I only be able to work in Advertising Companies? Am I limited to Ad Firms?

Or could I work in other places not technically an Ad firm...for example, a publishing company. (Scholastic, Harper Collins, just examples). Could you give me a list of places I can make a career with an Advertising Major.
