how much an SEO specialist or an SEO expert is getting paid?
the company that i am working as an SEO for them for 3 moths they are paying 12/hr to me. Behind the hard work i do, i have to do photoshop stuff, designing, but i can not do the content writing, i found a great content writer and they pay for it, the rest as far as goes to organic SEO and link building, social network, twitting, etc.. i do it my own + I give idea to designer, content writer, etcc I know SEO job is not web designing but i also helped the web desginer to build the website since i am good with HTML.
Now what i need to know is this work? or theyhave to pay me more? any info on that?> and they keep asking me where are results where SEO takes time!
They pushing me that they do not see results, meanwhile I can not do the magic for a website where it was really bad designed and spammed, is that possible?

You should be making no less than $25 an hour for SEO, and that is at the rock bottom.

This is a very dependable subject so you'd probably need to make a local search like what are people charging in your local market. It depends on pro's experience, area and the employer as well.

So where are the results - after 3 months you should be able to demonstrate an improvement via Google Webmaster Tools.

" I know SEO job is not web designing" - dead wrong! A badly designed website has a high bounce rate and that's bad for SEO. You can have excellent content but if it is not laid out in a way which engages the user and encourages them to dig deeper into the site your rankings will be lower than they need to be.

Price? Depends on the keywords but as someone else said $25 per hour is really a minimum.
