why is this happening?

i have instagram on my samsung galaxy s and today around the afternoon, it started acting up? i haven't been able to see anyones photos (like on my newsfeed) it has the loading bar, than says tap to reload and when i tap, it does the loading bar and says tap to reload (and repeat) and when i try to instagram my picture, i get the force close message.. i shut my phone of and turned it back on (hoping it would go back to normal cause thats what i usually do) but it's been the same..

Reinstall it

Uninstall it completely, then try to reinstall it - there was a fake malware infested version of Instagram in the Play Store for a while, but should have since been fixed, so give that a shot.
