Do popular chat rooms cost more?

When I go to a webcam site, is it true that the popular chat rooms always cost more than let's say new hosts or the less popular ones?

Cost more to run yes.

Cost more to use no.

Of course. It's a matter of supply and demand. The more popular chat rooms feature hosts that have many fans and they know that guys will always book their private shows, even if they charge more. Besides, in most cases new hosts are limited in how much they can charge. On the site that I use they only charge like a dollar per minute.
