is there a way to permanently block a facebook friend from seeing your posts?
I went in and changed my privacy setting about a week ago so a few people can't see my posts. (I did that because I don't want to just flat out unfriend them because of social and family reasons) But I posted something from my phone and now all of a sudden that changed it so that they can all see everything again! (I know this because a certain family member that I've never met has to comment on literally every post and picture I upload). So is there a way to PERMANENTLY keep them from seeing everything or am I just supposed to stop using facebook mobile now?

yeah Em just click their profile and click block on the dropdown menu but if you two happen to be in a group he/she can still see what you do in that group

Yeah.. there is a trick..
Just add them in your family list and hide your post from family.. there is a option in FB where you can hide your posts from Friends/family/etc....
I've done many times... Just list them as your family.. and then click on post setting.. hide your posts from family

when you post something theres a thing that says who can see this. it looks like 2 people with an arrow pointing down next to it. click on it and a down bar will come up. click 'custom' and choose the people who you dont want to see your posts. itll save the people who you put each time.
