Con-wired connects are a lot more reliable and allow for higher transfer speeds

-you pay allot more for decent speed
-Less bandwidth. Works good when say, downloading one file, or watching a youtube video, but try to do both at once and they are both going to slow to a crawl.

Wired is a a bit faster and you don't get disconnected as often. Wireless lets you move around with mobile devices and not deal with wires.
