Problem with my samsung galaxy s 2?

I had this phone as a replacement for my galaxy s 1, which i loved, but this phone seems to be far less superior to the older one! I can't upload any pic from my phone to face book or email or anything. My other phone could but this one won't allow it for some reckon. Also my text message tone doesn't always work and I've missed out on some really important messages. My phone is always on loud, I've checked settings to the best of my ability, made sure volume is up and i have a ringtone selected. Does anyone ever had this problem, or is my phone knackered?? All help is really appreciated.

The samsung galaxy s2 is just a quiet phone. Most new samsungs are... Just put a really loud rington and that should work...

I don't what you are talking about Mr. Scott. I have used this phone before I upgraded to iPhone 4S (I also used the SGS 1 before the SGSII.) and the SGS II is better than the SGS in all aspects. The one thing I did to my SGSII is I upgraded it to ICS. Plus I think you need to install the Facebook/Twitter/Instagram app before you can share.

And also you should know that there are different volumes for different things. Media, ring tones, alerts and alarms all have different volumes that can be adjusted independently. Make sure you set a good tone for SMS and set the volume for alerts at high.

Set it to Loud and Vibrate so you'll get notified immediately. Regarding the internet connectivity, check your connection or try using another app for it and see how it goes.

I currently have the Galaxy S2. I have no problems with uploading pictures to Facebook, Emails, and or text messages. I also have no problems downloading pictures either. Matter of fact I haven't had any problems with it.

My phone is plenty loud and I use the stock ring tones. I also have it vibrate when the phone ring, and when I have a text message. I also have it click and vibrate when I'm typing on the keyboard.

What I would do is take it to you phone carrier. Have them erase everything and put it back to stock as if you had just bought the phone from them. It sucks to have to do that but a program might had not loaded right and it's causing all of your problems. If it doesn't work then request them to give you another one if you have insurance on the phone. If it happens 3 times most phone carriers will give you the updated version of the phone which will be the galaxy S3.
Some people did have problems when the phone was updated to ice cream sandwich. Maybe because it didn't load right but who knows. I didn't have any problems when mine was updated to ice cream sandwich.
