It started out only affecting Google Images, but this morning (11/12/13) has affected a 'regular' website. I'm getting ahead of myself.

The Problem:

I must go to 'In Private Browsing' to view these pages. It was no too much of a handicap when it only affected images, but now that it seems to be affecting regular websites (in this case, Sportsmansguide) it has become very troublesome. Also, the fact that it is progressively getting worse is very, VERY troubling.

I sure hope someone can tell this poor, benighted computer-illiterate what is going on and, by far the most important issue of all, how to fix it.

Thanking You in Advance,

Pano

Depending on what browser you are using, you want to check and see what add-ons you have loaded.

For internet explorer, open control panel, internet options, last tab, reset. The delete personal data if that does not help.

You also want to run a spyware scan, many programs out there intended to redirect you and be a general nuisance. Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and run a full scan to remove any suspicious registry entries and or BHO hijacks, or spyware addons.
