I was talking to my mom and she told me that she saw something on her friends Facebook that said they can download something so that you can see who is viewing or trying to view your Facebook page. Is this true? And if so where the heck is it, I haven't seen anything that shows it.

It can't be true. Facebook doesn't allow people to track who views their profiles. Facebook applications, on the other hand, are unable to track anybody unless they have the consent of the viewer.

It's def not true.

This is a line used by scammers in an attempt to get you to click their link. Nobody can see their page views in Facebook.

I just found this... it's from the FB Help Centre.

Can I know who’s viewing my profile or how often it’s being viewed?

No, Facebook does not provide a functionality that enables you to track who is viewing your profile, or parts of your profile, such as your photos. Third party applications also cannot provide this functionality. Applications that claim to give you this ability will be removed from Facebook for violating policy. You can report applications that provide untrustworthy experiences by clicking the "Report Application" at the bottom of the application’s About page, or by clicking "Report" at the bottom of any canvas page within the application.

Not true.
No way to see who views it unless they post a comment or like.

That's not possible. Facebook doesn't allow people to track who views their profiles. Facebook applications, on the other hand, are unable to track anybody unless they have the consent of the viewer.

Follow the source to see the Facebook's statement about this issue.
