why does my mom care if I like her Facebook posts?

I don't like liking everything I see ( Im rather selective because I'm not on Facebook a lot...just when I'm bored between classes)

This morning my mom asked me why I didn't like her Facebook post about my Grandma passing away (she posted reflecting on her life)
Why does she care? I don't like EVERYTHING other people post...I barely like anything on Facebook.

First of all, I'm sorry to hear your grandma passed away.
Second, I think your mother may be a bit vulnerable at the moment, it's like being pregnant: You react different to things. You act different. It's about the hormones. Maybe your mother is sad or confused and she get's mixed feelings about things.

Or maybe your mother just wants some attention to know you care about her or your grandmother.
