How can colleges or employers see your myspace/facebook pages?
how do they, when they are set on private,
or when the comments and friends are hidden, in ms's case? Would they still see yours when your email address's not the same one as the one you have registered in your school information? and in addition, dont you think it's kind of violation of your privacy? Ads |

Just by searching your name.
If it's private, by adding you. If you don't accept, then they can't. If you have your profile on public, or accept the request, it's not a violation of privacy because it was your decision. |

I think that only applies if the profile is public, or they can see some of it, tagged photos, wall posts, etc.
I actually just read an article on it. It's a little long but it had some good info. Here's the link: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122170459104151023.html |

They can't.
Potential employers may be able to though, if they go through the government. My facebook was hacked by Revenue Canada at one point, because they thought my facebook was suspicious. |
