why wont Facebook show any images?

everytime i log into facebook all thats hows up for pictures whether it be thumbnail, uploaded pictures, adverts, profile pictures all that comes up is a blank space with either an 'x' or that one with green blue and pink shapes (really small) and it's only happening on facebook i tried logging out and logging back in, i deleted all my computer history i did some disk cleaner thing i restarted my computer and everything i do seems to not work i went on the help page on facebook and sent questions and shit and nothings worked, any ideas how to make it work seeing as it's not working on google chrome or internet explorer :/

clear your cache and cookies (not your history) and try again, or use a different browser

Facebook are prone to technical "glitches" especially over the weekend because that is when they do maintenance checks on the service they provide you and everyone else.
