my connection is broken in a very weird way please help?

a few months ago my connection went down and keeps cutting off in a very weird way like if im using my pc and then open my ps3 the connection cuts off the second i open it and every few minutes on its own so i called the service providers and they said they were fixing that shit after a while it got fixed after a couple it went down again this time its not much about cutting off as is about being very very weak like im talking 200 something kilo from 8 mega bites and if i reboot the modem it keeps connecting and cutting off for sometimes as much as hours until it stabilizes and when it does its shit like i said 200 or so and even weirder when i pick up the modem the connection cuts off i changed all the wires is my room and the wire that comes from the phone box thingy outside the house this is very weird and the connection ppl cant fix it and its killing me please if you have any info please help!! thank you!
thanks but i forgot to mention is that i actually changed the modem a while back, my bad!!

Only thing I could think of is your modem is getting old like mine keeps d/cing and all that

What #John said is true. Try getting a new modem, it could help the problem. If not, then quickly contact your provider.
