Does Anybody Have Descent Conversations Anymore?
I'm in high school. I ride the bus. I Pass by countless amount of teens per day. The majority of their conversations revolve around weed and sex and other things I can't and don't want to relate to. Am I ever going to stumble into a conversation that's somewhat intelligent or unsexual.

Sadly, this is how our society works mostly nowadays. With the advent of the Internet and ease of access of information, you would assume that it would help people greatly in acquiring new and useful knowledge. However, this is not usually the case. Pornographic websites are now easily accessible to prepubescents and teenagers which can do them no good in the long run. The openness in the social media have also contributed greatly to the changing mindsets of the teenagers.

Honestly, I would much rather associate myself with the "geeks" than talk to people like that. If their lives are so freaking boring that not only is that all they do, but also all they talk about, then that's really sad. People these days, especially us young adults and teens, have been brain-washed into thinking that these things are normal. Normal is what you make it. For me, a normal weekend is eating foods that are terrible for me, watching cartoons with my little sister, and going to church so I can learn about God. I honestly feel bad for people who have to do drugs and have sex to make their lives more interesting. They must not have good relationships with anyone they know. Once you get to college, things change a little. By that time, most all the burn-outs have become drop-outs, and the kids who attend college are actually intelligent and can hold a decent conversation. It gets better. I promise. Smile
