I can just guess that such cheap stuff may not be the purest stainless steel.

I have no first hand experience, but looked into it a bit, the Long Beach CA address given does show up on local business listing, hard to see it on Google Maps, I suspect it's actually a student housing apartment a block from Cal State Long Beach. The site has been up for 5 months.

I see $99 pieces there on their home page, the 99 cents are just teasers to attract prospects.

Funny a Bill of Lading from a Chines company comes up in a search (what would you expect for those prices) it's another indication that they are real and have probably imported a significant amount of material.
