My first time using EBAY?
hi guys, would love an answer! haha,

im new to ebay, if i buy an item about 27 inch's wide how does it get sent to me?

what i mean is, it doesent fit in my mail box? haha, and i live in a unit and my mailbox is next to the other's so if my item gets left there it could get stolen.

Dude, it's 27inches in one direction so it can be turned around and posted through your mailbox regardless... If they can't get it through the slot they'll do whatever they usually do with oversized mail where you are, where I am they either drop it with a neighbour or return it to the local distribution office where you can pick it up and they leave you a card to say that's what has happened.

EDIT: Please don't use it to go on a murder spree.

In most cases you will go to the local post office and take the product there or if it sent by a some other delivery service, than you can expect to be delivered to your door. Check the sended policy about sending stuff or ask him directly.

Hi,

If it doesn't fit your mailbox, they will attempt to deliver it to your apartment or house. If you are not home, depending whether it is UPS or USPS, they will either attempt to redeliver it again the next day or will leave a notice on your door or mailbox so that you can pick it up at your local post office.

Sometimes, if your neighbor is nice enough, they can hold it for you and give it to you when are home.
