Most have a fair use policy despite claiming unlimited service.
I'm with Virgin Media, its an unlimited service but they have a traffic management policy which slows down my connection, but I've never had a horrible letter despite hitting the throttle back many, many times. Its all down to the small print in your contract with your ISP, do a google search on the connection and ISP and see how yours fair. |

It depends on the company, some have a so called far use policy
As you don't say who you are with I can only suggest you look in the Terms of Service (ToS) for your company and internet type as it can differ even at the same provider. |
